Greetings from Los Angeles!

I loved Pony Express! B&B....National ....and don't forget about Kings Gunworks in Glendale!
Fowlers in Orange and Martin Retting in Culver city is what remains.

Yep, I second a positive vote for Kings. Those were good ol days for me anyway. I remember how they use to have a case with several nice single actions. One in particular that got away from me was an old colt 38-40. Price was only about $1000.

First handgun I ever got was from Pony Express when it was in Encino, on Ventura Blvd. I bought a Colt Combat Commander 9mm in 1980. And my fire gun safe is a Pony Express branded one made by Sun Welding. I bought in 1983 when Pony Express moved over by Budweiser off Roscoe Blvd,...and I am still using it.

Welcome from W Hollywood. I remember bringing two close friends to B&B to get them home defense guns after the city burned in 92. I suggested they each grab a 3” inch k frame but one grabbed the 2 3/4” speed-six. Not being a Ruger fan at the time I tried to steer him to the Smith but to no avail. After shooting both of them, I have to admit he made a good choice.

Hello from Idaho

When are you moving here? All of your neighbors just showed up and are waiting for you...LOL . This is a great group and I hope you find as much good info on here as I have in the past few years.

Welcome to our happy home from Central Ohio!

Is that a 66-4? Mine too has the best trigger of any S&W in my humble accumulation.

I had a Speed-Six, and it was a solid gun. It was just boring, if that makes since.

I still have a few Rugers, a Super Blackhawk, Super Redhawk and a 10/22. And I used to have Ruger No 1 in 458 Win Mag, which I wish I never sold.
