I am new to the site. I am a career firefighter rank of captain with 24 years on the job. I have been collecting S&W revolvers since 1975. It's great to be here considering the firearms-unfriendly state I live in. Thanks for allowing me in.

Welcome from a new member also. I retired 3-94 (LEO) from the Peoples Republik of NJ and moved to a much friendly gun state. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. It is called retirement and then moving. My son-in-law is a Bat/Chief on the JCFD. Stay safe my friend.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. As a aside, my 20 year old son is in the US Navy in Goose Creek, SC. He will serve as a reactor operator on a big boomer when he finishes school. Bless our men and women in uniform. He shot Expert in Basic Training.

Welcome from Texas CaptainJohnsofd. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Good Morning to fellow S&W aficionados :). I live in the wilds of Ohio, and have been collecting S&W revolvers since last November when I realized that you-know-how was going to get elected and I wanted to make absolutely sure that I wasn't going to find myself without the means to protect myself. As I got to read more about S&W revolvers, the more fascinated I became, and the rest is history. In between a long term love affair with the 1911 pistol, and a desire to have a full set of .32acp American made pistols from the golden age of American craftsmanship, and an liking of East German Makarov's I've managed to acquire a Model 60 no dash, Model 67 no dash & a Model 18-3. My wife is of course beside herself, 'nuff said.

Welcome, I spent my first 35 years in Hightstown, NJ. Now I'm a damn Yankee in N.C. for almost 20 years...
