I grew up around smiths since my father was and still is a cop and my grandfather also had a smith.

Welcome from a fellow American of Cuban descent. I have transplanted to northern Nevada and I love it here. I do miss one thing from Miami...

I am brand new here also, but I can not post any new topic, none.

Welcome from Texas Miami JBT. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.
Reserve officer for 29+ years, now work the pawn shop detail for my agency.

Howdy fellow cracker. Some pork, black beans and rice, and Key lime pie would be good right now.

Welcome Miami from a Mississippi boy who has been living in S. Fla for several years ( Homestead and Fort Lauderdale). Got a world of respect for the "old line Cubans" hard working and loyal employees for me

One of the very best things about Miami....the FOOD!

My Aunt (rest her soul) and I would get what she called 'Cuban Coffee' from a little store up the street. Always with extra sugar, it was awesome. Parrots in the trees, Iguanas lurking about.
