After a couple of months' time, three FFLs (one of which is a gunsmith in Texas) my Model 696-1 is home in California, but in a 10-day quarantine... meanwhile, here are a few cellphone pictures.

Teddy Jacobson/Actions by "T" in Sugar Land, TX, corrected a few things like an impossibly-light trigger pull (springs seems to have been modified from their original specification at some point), he recut the crown and performed a complete action job. With permission he also jeweled the front and rear faces of the cylinder, contoured the trigger then reblued. His prices are reasonable and he does great work. We are fortunate he is only semi-retired. Avail yourselves!

Once this piece comes home I'll be able to snap another S&W family photo. Thanks for looking.
