I have been viewing your site for some time and want to introduce myself. I am Bill Hughes age 76 and have collected long guns for many years. I recently bought my first S & W. It is a victory with a serial number of V9280. Found it on GB for $230.00. All number match. It is tight with a good lockup. It has been parkerized in the past by a previous owner. The grip s dont have a number and are checkered with the medallion.
Hope I did all right and I hope to find other earlier S & Ss.
