I bought my first S&W gun last May (2010).

My son had been trying to get me to buy an AR15. I had been resisting, satisified with my AK47. Well we were in a gun shop and I saw an M&P15 MOE in dark earth. THAT was the most beautiful AR I had ever seen!

Of course I bought one.

I must admit I bought my M&P15 MOE on looks 'cause it's a beautiful weapon with the dark earth MOE furniture, and unlike any other AR15 model I've seen.

I bought a Harley and customized it. I bought an AK47 and put Tapco furniture on it. All I had to do to my M&P was add an Eotech512 for the perfect look and function.

Unfortunately it needs the bolt replaced due to a binding extractor and I'm having trouble with S&W customer no-service. I've got a long gun forum thread on that issue.

Update 08/19/10 = The bolt is done
