Hope this is in right section. I have a set of grips that came from a gun I got via Finland. Black washers and factory looking medallions. They have a coke bottle look from the rear. If there was such a thing as Mini Cokes or Kframe Cokes, this would be them. Are they simply football cut targets? Give me your opinions and a value estimate on them.

IMHO... I believe they have been sanded down. The tops of the checkering look flattened, leaving the diamond around the escutcheon standing a bit proud, which might be accentuating that "coke" look you're seeing there. And the bottom edges have been rounded. Overall, a nice looking set of stocks, but not original.

Again, that's my amateur opinion. I leave it to the real experts here to correct me.

There’s no such thing as k frame cokes.
They are just K frame diamond target stocks.
The butt of your target stocks have been heavily modified/ sanded to make a round edge.
Even though they look nice and are comfortable to shoot, the collectors value is gone. If you got $75-100, I think you’d be lucky.

Yep I know there’s no such thing as K frame cokes. These appeared to have bigger than normal palm swells. And rounded edges puzzled me. But it makes sense that they were modified. Whoever did it was good. They appear factory.

This makes sense. The diamonds sitting proud makes for the Coke look. Sounds like they might be custom , one of a kind and priceless 🤔
