Just bought some new-to-me toys...thinking of setting one of the 5906's up w/laser grips.

Anyone know how the CT laser grips compare size wise w/stock and Hogue grips?

Do the CTs have a grippy soft rubber feel similar to the Hogues?

Thanks in advance.

Here's some pixs just for fun...

CTs are wider than stock but not by so much, and they have a nice rounder shape to them. Not much experience with Hogues but I would say the CT's stickiness is closer to the Hogue's than to the factory grips.

Stock grip feels just a bit small and the Hogue feels a bit too large...the stock grip doesn't feel secure in my hand.

Was hoping the CT would be in the middle size wise and sticky like the Hogue.

My CT's feel better than either stock (curved or straight back strap)or Hogue. CT's seem inbetween stock & Hogue rubber - and closer to stock. Stickiness is better than Hogue, they seem softer. I like the CT's a LOT. FWIW.

I like CT grips, but nothing feels better to me than the straight back factory Delrin grips on my 5906.

I have the 59xx CT grips cut down to fit my CS9, 908 and 6906. They are made of a hard plastic covered by a very thin layer of rubber. I like the feel better than delrin, but they are not sticky like Hogues and don't share the printing problem. Not as soft, but the feel is more like Pacmyers.

Sizewise, I think the delrin and the CT's are about the same size on the 6906, but the slight curve to the CT backstrap is just enough to allow me to operate the decocker with my thumb - it is a bit awkward to operate with the delrin grips. Of course, that's strictly a function of the size of my hand.

Would like CTs for the 6906 but not sure about cutting a set up to fit..Have stare at a set and think about it.

The 5906 will have a set.

...about to check on night sights as well.
So which is best Meprolight or Trijicon?
That should start a nice discussion.

Thanks for the responses..!
