I have a set of S&W Medallion logo grips for an N-Frame that I do not have a use for.

Can someone tell me how much they are worth, I have no idea? They are in 99% condition I'd say. Similar grips to the one shown in the below picture I found in another thread.

I think the going price varies by location, but in northern Virginia (aka Richistan), N-frame round but combats would go for $100-$125 easily at a big gun show.

N frame combats

Flat paneled combats like this in the pic are worth about $100 -$110 in very good to excellent condition unless the grain is exceptional then maybe $125-$135.

Dang...well in that case I'm selling. Will try to get an ad up soon.

Thanks for the responses.

I'd recommend keeping them. The flat sided models feel better in the hand than the older round combats that are bringing more. If you see an old N frame set for sale on here they are snatched up quickly. Especially by a gent who ALWAYS beats me too them, and who's name is on this thread:).

I've seen em sell on E Bay for $200.00+. Crazy as they suck when shooting a full power .41 or .44 magnum, but look pretty! Do not believe they're still being made but think they'll go up in value.

I swappped out the original combats on my 3" 657 as they hurt and didn't fit my hand. Now have a set like yours on it and they feel great with light reloads. JMO

Grips have been sold. Didn't feel(or look) right to me on my 6.5" 629....bet they would be great on a shorter barreled gun.

Combats

On the contrary , Just recently shot my 3" 629 LH Gun with full power loads and shot it better with the rounded ( and much prettier 80's combats , not that it matters while shooting ) It was more comfortable to shoot , way more than any square butt gun with the wood target grips that took S&W a long time to find out were way too big for about 95% of shooters ( the Duke excluded ) and also offhand accurancy touching some of them in tight little clusters at 25 yards with a snubbie superb accurancy for me they fit my hand almost perfectly and this combined with the round bt done really well for me round bt is the way to go up to about 4 - 5 inch guns and down after that they are too nose heavy I have found and to think I once wandered years ago why anyone would want a .44 magnum with a 3" barrel it is a serious shooters weapon indeed , just cant see why they didn't ever make a 629 4 inch full lug gun with the round butt or a 657 would have been awesome !
