Grips 460 Magnum

I have a S&W 460V and I'm wanting to buy a set of grips for it. I found a set of Ahrends K/L frame square butt Moradillo finger groove grips for it online. Will these grips fit my 460? I shoot reduced loads the vast majority of the time so I believe wood grips will hold up OK.

I think the 460 is a round butt so I don't know if the sq. butt will work.

If Ahrends makes a round to square butt K frame stock set that you like, those will fit without question.

I checked with Top Gun Supply where I observed the grips and no square to round butt conversion available - darn! I just sent an email to Altamount to see if they have anything available. I know Hogue make laminated grips for the 460 - anyone aware of another company who makes x-frame grips?

At one time Karl Nill did but they aren't inexpensive. I have a set on my 460 but I bought them more than a few years ago.

The X-frames have K/L Round Butt grip frame. You could get a round to square butt conversion grip for RB K/L-frame or a straight RB K/L frame grip.

A SB grip will fit a RB, but there will be a gap at the bottom of the grip if it is an open back grip.
A SB grip will not fit a RB without modification.
