Grips for model 41

I would say Herret Grips. They have the same ones on their website Gallery.
They look similar to Harrett
I believe those are Jay Scott grips. Just looked them up in an old Stoeger Shooters Bible from the '6
They do look like Harretts I have for k frame revolver. But I can't find any for model 41 or any old advertisements for them either.

Can you share some pictures of your jay scotts? I was looking at jay scott as well. Only ones I can find have checkering in a contained patch not all the way to front of the grip. Also the jay scotts have a hole for magazine release. The ones I want don't cover the magazine release.

I went to Herretts site and didn't see those grips listed ...
I could of swore I had a set with the skip=line checkering ...
but a lot has changed in 40 years ... I wonder if Herretts dropped them from production ?
What a shame ... they were awesome target grips .

I see the grips are hiding in the Herrett Website Gallery ...
at least my memory was correct and hope they still make them !

Call Herrett's and speak to the owner. The business has gone thru some rough times with the death of the original owner and they have tried to re-establish what they had at one time. Not too long ago they made up some custom grips for me that weren't cataloged items and they turned out great. They weren't the cheapest stocks but they turned out fine for me.

Great advice! I will call them.
Thank you.

I did not see a 41 in Herrett's gallery, I did see an advertisement in their history section for 41 stocks.
Anyway here is a LH set of Herretts that were on a mid 70s 41 to compare. I do think they were purchased during that period but I have no evidence. They do not have the skip line checkering, they do have a mag release hole. The Herrett's sticker is still on the inside.IMG_3838.JPGIMG_3839.JPGIMG_3842.JPGIMG_3841.JPG

J. Scott, Herret, and Sile all made similar grips. To me they look like Herrett. Louisiana Joe has Herrett Nationals on his above.

All of them are getting harder to find these days. Herret used to offer a special order service, not sure if it's still available.

At one time they made high horn stocks for Model 40’s and 42’s, not the 442. She did say they were making service type stocks for J frames. I don’t think any of the S&W revolver stocks offered are checkered, and forgot to ask when I called. I ordered a set of H-41 stocks for my Model 41, they are on backorder but they were making a run next week.
