A few years ago, I finally found a 629-4 mountain gun, NIB that I had to bring home, it was a grail gun for me. Of course, those rubber grips had to come off and I purchased a set of the Hogue Monogrips that I love for the round butted guns. They feel good in my hand. And then I found a block of Circassian Walnut at a gun show, so I had to send it to John Culina for some magic. Yes, he sprinkled it with pixie dust and said a few incantations in the unknow languages before he cut into the block of wood. Now I have a set of round to square conversion that are fantastic and it says "N" for N frame right on the grips. I wonder just what incantation he said over that block of walnut to produce that N on the grips?

Mine are not fancy, but work great for me, Herrett Targets. My N frame square butts have them. Bob
