grips for S&W 686 2.5" & 3"

I would appreciate if people can post pictures of grips used on S&W 686 2.5 & 3 " barrels.

The later 2.5 and 3" 686s came with rubber stocks of various brands. No fair guessing which most prefer between the ones pictured above and synthetics .

I have plain factory service grips on my 3" cs-1

And on my 2.5" I have boot grips from an L-comp

I like the Combats for looks, Pachs for shooting magnums and would like to get some wood boot grips to add down the road.

Definitely not. When I got the gun, the front sight was beat up pretty bad, so since I was going to replace it anyway, I changed directions and tried out a patridge sight.
I have recently replaced it with a correct ramp sight..

MY 2 12" NO-DASH CAME WITH COMBATS. S&W COMBATS DO NOT FIT MY HAND. I SWAPPED THEM OUT FOR A SET OF MAGNA PC GRIPS WITH A TYLER-T ATTACHMENT. THIS SET UP GIVES ME EXCELLENT CONTROL. I ALSO USE PACHMAYR COMPAC GRIPS WHEN IN HARSH WEATHER, OR SEVERE USE. THIS SAVES YOUR NICE GRIPS FROM DAMAGE, AND CUSHIONS YOUR WEAPON FROM BANGS AGAINST OBJECTS OR DROPS….
