I purchased a Model 15 that the owner bought second hand 20+ years ago. He said he bought it from a dealer who had all types of Model 15s with GSA engraved on them. This one doesn't.
But the serial number starts with a G.
It is GK52***. I can't find a reference to it in the S&W 3rd edition.
Anyone have an idea of year of manufacture?
