Do you realize what are those legislatures limiting the magazine capacities to 7, 10 or 15 rounds telling us?
Possession of magazines with capacity exceeding the allowed number of rounds by the recent law is illegal and will turn us into criminals.
So, they are telling us to sell them to other states where they are still legal or surrender them in order to be destroyed.
This is as same as if they were telling us since the top speed limit in our state is 70 mph, we can not possess a car capable of exceeding that speed.
So we have to sell our vehicles or surrender to be destroyed.
Can you imagine how absurd that will be considered?
But when it comes to magazines for some reason it is considered as a sensible solution.
Even though I disagree with this law, why simply our legislature can't say "whatever mag you have, you may retain your hardware but you can't load them with more than allowed number of rounds by your state law?"
It will be as same as saying that you can possess a car capable of going 160mph as long as you drive max 70 mph on the roads.
No matter how much we jump up and down and scream that we are law-abiding citizens, still, up to our legislatures we are all corrupt, criminal minded people waiting for an opportunity to break the law.
Don't you ever get tired of being treated as prospective criminals with an evil intention who has the burden of proof loaded on your shoulders to prove the opposite.
Basically we're being asked to prove our innocence.
I thought we never had to do that as Free American citizens!
I thought we were all supposed to be innocent until proven guilty!
I guess this must be the "change" they were talking about.
