Gun Case Rec's for 15-22

Any consensus on gun cases for the 15-22? I see on Amazon UTG and a Covert ($33) and Deluxe Covert ($49) models. Wondering if the $49 one is worth the extra 16 bucks.

I got an Uncle Mike's 41". It has like 5 magazine slots, a middle loose slot and a big covered front slot. On top of that, the rifle fits perfectly in there with a magazine in it, or a hand grip and a scope on it. Best part is, they're like $25 to $30.

Walmart in our area had this one on special for the Thanksgiving sales....I have seen this case as high as $99...it normally sells for $39 at Walmart, was $30...lockable, customizable, pressure release for flying or whatever, hard case, QUALITY....

Wish our Wal-Marts carried these! Wish they caried any kind of hard case for that matter.

New to this forum and i am looking to get a 15-22 but i ride a motorcycle and it would be tough to carry. I am also looking for a case but what I want to do is separate the upper and lower so the gun will fit into a smaller case and also will not look like I am carrying a gun. So does anyone know what the total length of the upper is?

Nope....the sale is over, saw several post they found some today but they were back up in price.

39 is still a good price for them. I was surprised at 8AM when they went on sale I was the only one who grabbed one. Everyone else in the hunting department were going for some cheap $15 sweatshirts.

I got the 41" Uncle Mikes case. The 15-22 fits perfectly and it was about the same price. I have a red dot with the high rise mount and a front grip. Just right

yeah, i got 2 of the planos on special. seems like a good case so far, but I haven't customized the inner foam for my gun yet. I have found it won't close without cutting the foam as it doesn't compress enuff. Won't say it's on par with pelican cases, but definitely a deal.

Plus now I've got an excuse to buy a "real" AR, as I've got an empty case and need something to fill it. Hehehehe

My wife came home with one yesterday, since I gave her one hell of a guilt trip. The inner foam is almost "perforated" allowing you to make a 100% custom fit. It's super easy, you can tear the foam with your fingers. The case is pretty large, enough for my 15-22 and my Walther P22.

My friend bought one of those Planos at Walmart on Black Friday for $30. It's a really nice case. There is another piece of the "fingered" foam underneath the perferated foam if you want to switch them for a snugger fit. I would have bought one too if i hadn't just bought a cheaper feeling case for the same price 1 week earlier.
