I finally bought me a gun safe, and while looking for storage options, I found them to be pricey. I wanted to use the inside of the door for storage/racks, but even the pegboard pistol holders were about $10 per gun. I went to Lowes yesterday and picked up some of these for $2.21 each. They are drill holders.

They seem to work pretty well and are rubber coated.

I am still looking for other ideas for storage throughout the safe to utilize everybit of room. Any ideas are appreciated

Great idea - looks great too. I think you need to fill in the blank spots though! :D

All I need is more hooks, didn't want to buy too many in the case they didn't work out. Next time I am there I will get more

That's a good idea. I have been wanting to come up with something similar for mine.

Oh, and I take it you like stainless steel :D

My blues are on the shelf

I tried it with the hooks through and then behind the trigger guard they just hang there and move alot with the motion of the door. This way they weight of the but is leaning on the door and they dont really move at all.

Looks way too precarious for me. I'd turn the guns over and put one of the hooks through the trigger guard.

I use 10 awg wire and shape it to hold the guns. I haven't put peg board in my safe yet but sounds like a great idea. Do you have any problem closing the door of the safe due to the shelves.Doeboy

You gotta move them around a bit until you hit the sweet spot between the shelves.

Looks like you need more hooks. KNowing how expensive they are, I am willing to take just those guns on in the photo off your hands. There is no reason for your being oversupplied with firearms. Each of those guns look much too nice to be hanging on a safe door.

Let me know when I can come over and we will take care of the paperwork.

What's holding the peg board on?

I used the original screw holes that hold the interior door panel on, I had to replace the screw with some that are 1/8" longer. I used velcro at the bootom of the pegboard to keep it against the door. The pegboard holes lined up just right with the screw holes.

Oldman45, Just come on over, We will load up your truck no paperwork neccasary. Bring a briefcase of cash though.

I would rather bring a plastic bag with unmarked money. More difficult to lift fingerprints from plastic bags.

You do accept out of state cash, don't you?
