Just got back from the West Palm Beach Florida Gun Show, and will say I saw at least three venders with the shield in both cal. selling for $449.00. I bet cash would talk, but there out there for sale.

Yes, I live in south Florida and have yet to visit any gun store in palm beach, broward or dade and NOT see a shield, this since April, there is no lack of supply.
Maybe for you guys over there, but out here I have yet to see or hear of a 9mm version in a shop, they all vanish within an hour of receilt and that is IF they are not sold for pre-order/waiting list before they even arrive. I have heard rumors of 40's seen in a shop, but usually only from the person that scooped it up..

You might want to visit the Gun Shows, cause couple week ago I was at War memorial at there gun show, and they had two venders both selling Shield for $400.00. It was Sunday afternoon around 2:20PM and they said they couldn't sell it, and nobody asking. They even told me, 400.00 out the door, along with $5.00 fee for processing included.
I guess you need to make the rounds.
The West palm Beach show is at South Florida fairgrounds.

I've been to the LGS, 4 different ones since April about 7-8 times and haven't seen one yet, 9mm or 40.
Really want to handle one. Eventually the LGS&R has to get one for a rental for their range, but who knows how long that'll be though.
