Did the gun show in Cody Friday-Saturday. Just a 2 day show...Kinda liked no Sunday...No lowballers . The show was well attended. There were a few Vendors from years earlier that didn't show...Shoulda been there Two Bit Cowboy. Like Cody always is it was fun most everybody knows every one else. S&W report...there were quite a few Sniths in attendence. I got to meet some very distinguished Smith and Wesson firearms. I mean wow prices. 2000 dollar 27-2s. I did sell 2 or 3 but not for those prices. So didn't buy any. When did Ruger Singl Actions become 8-9 hundred dollar guns?? I did buy a few things. a fair Remington 870 vent rib w/choke tubes for 225...and did guy a new Ruger Mark II Target for 475. Sold 7 estate guns for some ladies.....sold about 25000 primersLRPs are hard to find. Rere were some on tables for 140 dollars and up. Sold some reloading items bullet molds etc. Bought 5 caliber conversions and couple complete wiyh powder measures...Any body need a 550 complete conversion for a 550 in 45-70??? I must have...cause I bought one. Lot of stuff to be found. Got a nice 1890s railroad watch for momma to put in her display. Almost bought an old hammer Parker Double brought in by an old gentleman. Absolutely great shape with a bit of blue but it was Damascus. Fellow brought a really nice Ithaca Super 10 ga double in to sell. ...2-3000 dollar or more gun...but cut off to 26 inches. He had been an african Professional hunter/guide and used t for very dangerous wounded game...said a couple leopards and 3 lions...so I guess it paid for itself He also sold a 450 something or else Nitro Double ..,Guess he ain't going back to Africa. Anyway, it was a pretty good show ...ammo prices are down some... gun prices are up. And people still come to shows to at least look
