Gun show report this weekend...

I would love to find one of those Pelson cases for an 8 3/8".357 Magnum.

Thanks for sharing the photos. :)
My pleasure, Richard...After the obligatory cleanup I'll try to remember to post better pics...

Regarding the display case, I'm glad you mentioned it because I have no idea whether it was a factory offering or not...All the flocking is intact, and the case seems to be in very good condition...Any information you can impart will add to the knowledge account...It also came with a gold box marked for a 8.375" .357 Magnum, but the gun won't fit with the target stocks...I'm sure it would with magnas...

Thanks for the kind words...:D...Ben

I've never been to San Francisco, ny is it nice there ? :)
Without getting into politics (which would shut the thread down) I can't think of a worse combination of climates for a perfect storm against gun folks...I'll stay here in Texas while you and Roy go visit San Francisco NY and report on the weather...:p...Ben

One more shot of my new little buddy all snugged in to its Azula leather jacket which was another orphan I adopted, a South African I took in as part of a trade......Ben

With all due respect, Mutt is a beautiful piece.
What are your thoughts on the Azula holster? I'm in search for something similar for a 2" K frame.

All my mutts have their strong points, but their looks are seldom praised by the purists...My home is welcome to any of them...They are works of beauty to me...

Yesterday I wore the Azula with the new mutt for the first time, and it snagged coming out twice, for unknown reasons...I've previously been wearing it with another 4" mutt and more recently with a 3.5" 1956 5 screw .357 Magnum, both of which presented no problem on presentation...I'll do a closer exam next week as time permits as I want 100% reliability in my carry rigs...

One of my favorite holsters for my 2" model 15-2 is a Don Hume JIT...It's the most body hugging OWB holster I've tried, but I'm not sure it's available for the N frames...;)...Ben

I have a Don Hume S.O.O.T. IWB for my 4" model 13-2 and love it.
I have looked at the J.I.T. and the O.T. just not sure which one will pull the snubby model 10 into the body better.

Ben:

I have several of those Pelson cases for a variety of guns (just not one for 8.375" .357). If you ever tire of yours, please let me know.:) Here is an ad for Pelson that sheds a little light on the product:

Thanks for the information, Richard...It seems I got a better deal than I bargained for...Mr. Google finds none for sale anywhere, not even completed sales, so I wouldn't know what to ask even if I wanted to sell it...I guess I'll keep it together with the gun, but if I decide to sell it separately, you get first refusal rights...Thanks......Ben
