A petition is underway to stop the gun show in Saratoga NY on Jan. 12 and 13. Be advised if you attend you may be met by protesters. A response of civility and good manners will work to the advantage of our cause.

I'm goin. sometimes I do and then sometimes I dont,depends on my financial situation. BUT this time I'm goin to see the freak show!!! hope I can maintain myself.

I live about a 1/2 hour away, but was not planning on going this time. Do to the protest I got my 2 sons and a few friends to attend with me. Hopefully the place will be packed by our people as I know the media will be there and the more people attending the better.

Be advised there is a big liberal college in that city and I would think a lot of those people will be there making a pest of themselves! Like was said above do not let them provoke you!
 
I have been to this show and even worked it a couple of times with a friend over the years. I have been watching and following this petition since it came up, and I know the person who is responsible, it is some rich woman with nothing better to do who has been actually against it for years and now she has tried to get together with all the other NYC transplants that live in Saratoga and beyond. I have argued with her myself and she is totally against gun ownership, period. For anyone who goes to this show, yes we will be met by protesters, you can bet some will even get into the shows to disrupt the place. I am hoping they up their security a bit but Saratoga Springs PD is right next door practically (you even have to share the parking lot for the show with their cars) and I hope they are ready to meet the protesters. A while back there was a Saratoga show where the Occupy Wall st. protesters were at City Hall and some of that group spilled over to the City Center when the show was and clogged up traffic. I don't know if I will be going because one, the show is in doubt now, but knowing Dave Petronis, the guy who puts on these shows, he won't give in, my doc's have yet to even clear me to drive, and if I have any money to spend.
 
be sure to take your camera with you(not your cell phone)
enter the show and after a few minutes, go out side and start taking pictures of the protesters.
might as well make them as uncomfortable as possible. after all, that is what they are trying to do.
laugh and go back inside and enjoy the show....:D
