I have for sale a pristine, beautiful Model 52-2, serial number A489003. The gun is 99%+. The only wear I can detect is very small, difficult to see rub mark from contact with the cardboard box.
This one has the original blue cardboard Bangor Punta box in very excellent shape (no tears, corners intact, etc.), all paper work, and the tools — except for the bushing wrench. THE PRICE HAS BEEN REDUCED FROM $1175 TO $975, plus insured shipping to your FFL. I have found a local dealer who will do the transfer for very cheap (maybe free) and charge only for their actual UPS charges. The shipping and transfer charges for last gun I sent through them to a list member in North Carolina cost only about $25.
To go with this firearm, I also have 12 boxes of new old stock factory loaded Remington, Federal, and Winchester (four boxes of each brand) match .38 special 148 grain wadcutter ammo at $20 per box, plus ground UPS shipping. That is significantly less than you can buy the new stuff for, if you can find it.
If you buy the whole package (gun plus ammo) I will cut the price of the ammo by $5 per box, or $60, to $180 for all 12 boxes (600 rounds).
