Gunbroker completed auctions?

I've been trying for a couple of days to get to completed auctions on GB to check selling prices on a 25-2. The search always times out, even if I go to ended in last 30 days. Anyone else had this problem? I'm pretty sure I know what I want to ask for the gun, but since prices seem to have fallen a bit I don't want to be out of the ball park.

Just did a search on completed auctions (last 30 days "smith 25") worked fine.

You do have to log in to search completed auctions.

I was loged in. Actually, you can't even pull up the completed auctions option unless you are.

Just tried again shifting over to semi-autos and searching "5906". The site would happily give me completed auctions for the bottom feeders, but still won't give me anything besides current auctions for "25-2".

Close your browser and exit it. Re-open your browser. Go to the GB site. Log in. Go to Smart Search. Enter Smith & Wesson 25-2 as your search term. Select "Completed Auctions" as the time period. Hit the "search" button. You should get back 85 hits, on two pages. Let me know if this works for you. If not, I'll send you the results.

Thanks for the info. I got it to work the way you suggested. Thanks for that info also. I have been doing it the other way for years without difficulty. Seems to be something unique to the 25-2. All this time I have been thinking I was "computer literate", only to discover it just ain't so.

Some websearch pages are too smart by half. A "-" can often be misinterpreted as a minus sign in a search engine meaning "Exclude everything with '2' in it". Hence when you typed 25-2, it did exactly as you instructed.

No doubt you're correct. However I have searched like that on GB in the past without difficulty. I know about the "-", and have used that feature to exclude items. Anyway, thanks for the help. I found what I was looking for.
