Is anyone else locked out of Gunbroker? After more than 20 years, they do not accept my password and demand a secutity code hat they do not send to my P #.

Yes, they have been doing that for the last few years under the new owners.
I had been a member since 2004 with only A+ feedback.

They told me my email had been hacked, which was utter BS.
They wanted a picture of my driver's license.

I resisted that for a while but a rare gun that I wanted badly came up for sale.
So, I had to comply.

They have posted several messages (warnings) about a change to two-factor authentication. Think, getting an email or text with a code to verify that you’re who you say you are. It may be this?

Dealing with them on a fairly constant basis over the years, never had problem one. In fact just the opposite to be true, I have had excellent transactions over the years through their site. Most problems are with the seller, almost all of my purchases on G.B. are through only two or three auction houses. I have only had two negative incidents with purchases and received as quick as possible return for my purchase as well as a free return shipping label. With faulty ammunition I was given a complete refund for the entire purchase and with agreement to dispose of in a safe manner no return necessary.

I am admittedly impatient with all the password updates and authorization texts, etc. I am sure the added security is good but I choose not to spend my time fighting this. I sent an email to customer service requesting cancellation of my account. Prob over reaction but it is what it is.

I was banned a few years ago despite many positive interactions. I forgot to turn off my VPN one day. They didn’t even react to my email after I explained what happened.
Turned out to be a blessing, I have been downsizing selling locally or on this forum. The addiction is broken, I don’t miss them.

Same here - I like what I've got but don't want anymore and I don't have seller's remorse when one flies away. I hadn't logged in to GB in a while and just tried. Needed secondary step and my current phone # is on file. I requested the phone call to get the code - 5 minutes go by, no call. Asked for another and did not receive it. I've been banned from a lot higher class places than GB - screw em. (n)

Dug deeper and found terms of service - this will never happen - Double Screw You GB :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

From GB registration application:

Note: For the fastest support, please use the attachment section below to submit a photo of yourself holding your drivers license or other government-issued photo ID in PDF or JPG format. Be sure to also include at least one other form of identification or other official documentation (utility bill, loan statement, paycheck, vehicle registration, carry permit) which matches the name and address on your GunBroker account.

You may hide/black-out/redact any additional sensitive information, if desired.

Military personel should also submit (redacted) PCS orders for military verification.

Sent a picture of myself holding my driver's license and a picture of my ccw license and a brief explanation of what I did to get locked. Back on the next day after about 2 weeks being locked. Looking for certain custom rifles and GB has a national bunch of sellers. The sight is great, Larry

Yep, exact same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I gave up after about 15 minutes of trying to figure it out.
