When I pull up Gunbroker sight, I get a Pop-up regarding "incapsula" security stating I have to click on "I am not a robot" to continue??? Anyone else experiencing this? When I try to contact Gunbroker to ask about this, the "incapsula" thing pops up not allowing me to contact them? Any input will be appreciated...Roger

Maybe your service provider has Internet addresses associated with robots. Are you using some kind of anonymizing service like a VPN? Some sites' security systems get grumpy about that and start asking if you are a robot.

As long as it's not asking for any info, just pick the squares with street signs, or wavy letters/numbers and proceed.
I haven't had that problem and it may be as mentioned, just an ISP vs site server fight.
You might try a different search engine and see if that helps.

I got it the first time I logged on; now I'm fine. I also get that with other sites as well.

Thanks for the input...what I do not understand is the fact I have been on Gunbroker for probably 15 years with NO problems...so why now?
So...did you click that you were not a robot and the problem went away???

This is not just on GB. This "I am not a Robot" popup started a while ago and more and more internet sites are getting on the band wagon. I believe the sites are doing it to hopefully ward off possible problems from spammers or computer system hackers.
When you click on it then it asks you questions, like check the pictures with cars in them, or which squares have road signs or whatever. If you miss a square then it will ask you another set of questions till you get them right. Then you will be able to continue on the site to do what you wanted to do.
Some sites have a couple words that you have to type in a box in order to continue. Many times I had trouble reading what I was to copy. Then I had to do another word group. Some if you can't make out the words then you can click for another set of words that you might be able to make out better. Thanks to hackers, spammers and whatever else we have to deal with this security stuff.

I've just recently been asked if I was a robot while asking for a free catalog from a company. It has happened a couple of times before and is probably just a way for companies in some way to provide more security for themselves. I have a personal feeling that before too many years were are going to have to resort to using tin cans and string, semaphore, smoke signals, etc. because of all the technology feeding on itself
