Is it just me or are the prices higher on GunsAmerica vs. Gunbroker. Granted, I've never bought from either one, but it seems like there is a major difference.

Plus, I never recall anyone on here referring to buying from GA..

Thoughts??

Gunbroker is an auction site that sometimes has a buy now price.

GunsAmerica has fixed prices and is used more by dealers.

Thank you Sir... you educated me this evening. I did not know that they had those differences. Like they say...you learn something every day...

I have purchased 20+ guns from Gunbroker. I just bought my first gun from GunsAmerica last week. A really nice pre-27 for $885 and the seller threw in a nice Safariland holster. The seller was a private seller that had only sold a couple of guns.

I agree that the prices on GA seem to be higher.

As stated above Guns America ads are mostly dealers. I have contacted sellers with a lower offer than listed and had good results. Some wont budge but most are like a local dealer that have bargaining room built into the price. I still have more guns off GB. What I don't understand is why a seller on GB will start an auction at a really low price and then put a reserve on it. Why not just put the reserve as the starting price and save all of us the time and trouble.
That reminds me I need to go check my bid on the Supermatic slant grip.

Ted
