Gunshow find 19-3 RB

Original or not, it is the first one I've had my hands on. It sure balances nicely. Just trying to figure out what to do with it...

Meaning of "S.C.S.O."

I know that this is a 11 year old thread, but for anyone still inquiring about the "S.C.S.O." marking found on some model 19s, it stands for Summit County Sherrifs Office. The Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson 4th edition states on page 218:

"Summit County CO. 50 4" round butt shipped to Summit County Sherrifs Office. Marked S.C.S.O. M19-3 blue finish, s/n 6K29890 is our example."
