Hi Gents

Been wanting to do this for a while & I'm not getting any younger so here goes. I want to have one of my model 15 snubs round butted, a red ramp installed on the front sight and a white outline blade installed on the rear sight & reblued. I always loved the 15 snubs and felt they were one of S&W best models.

I'm fortunate to have several excellent examples of these outstanding revolvers, so I don't mind tinkering with one. FYI….It'll be a CCW piece. I prefer the shop have an FFL so I can send the gun directly to them and they can return it likewise. Anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Give Mag na Port a call. Good work and good turn around time.

I have used Mark Hartshorne of Pinnacle Custom in PA. He does great work.

I have also used Bowen Classic Arms for a caliber conversion. Their work is beyond reproach. And they can do some amazing things. Maybe they can convert that K Frame to something more interesting, say an 8 shot .25 ACP moonclip gun...

For your specific project you will very likely be happy with Cylinder & Slide.

www.cylinder-slide.com

This URL takes you right to Cylinder & Slide's S & W Revolver section:

http://www.cylinder-slide.com/index.php?app=ccp0&ns=catshow&ref=CP119

Their work is 1st rate, plus they have good turnaround.

All of the other previously mentioned gunsmiths are fine as well. However, C & S has a good system; they will call you when they are ready your handgun.

They offer all of the items that you want done. For example, I think their round-butt conversion is about $100. A quick look tells me your project will cost about $275.

Absolutely 100% without a doubt…Sam Damewood, Master Gunsmith…Wildcat Traders LLC.

Sam customized two S&W M65's for my daughters and a Star Modelo B "Super" in 9mm Largo for my son. Currently he is doing some certification work on my old Colt's Government Model for me.

Reference My Daughter's First and there's a link to my son's pistol there as well.

You will not beat the quality of service, professionalism, or price anywhere…

Thanks guys for the info.. I will be busy on the phone today. I'll let you know where I send it.
