Anybody watch the new series Guntucky on CMT last night? Its about the family that owns Knob Creek range in Kentucky. They showed blowing up a cabin, boat, bowling balls, watermelons...etc. Seems like it could be a good show.

Sorry, I like to see stuff blow up as much as the next guy but associating that activity with guns is just playing to the script that only crazies like to shoot. I'll pass thanks.

I watched and will probably continue to watch. I would like to see a little more of the guns and stories behind them. Rather than shooting cell phones and reinactments.

I have friends that shoot FULLY AUTOS at Knob Creek once or twice a year.

I got it recorded on my DVR, haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I just hope it's not a bunch of idiots yelling at eachother like American Chopper.

I like 'Sons of Guns' for the troubleshooting, antiques and creativity, not the reality crud. And at the end of the show they usually blow something up with full auto that doesn't impress me as good PR for us gun people.

Knob Creek

This annual machine gun shoot at Knob Creek has been been a "pilgrimage" for me and several of my best friends for years.......it is the "mecca" for the full auto shooters of the Midwest......It has been a fixture on my calendar and for hundred's of others for years.....for those of us who shoot full auto and have an interest in machine guns, it is one of "the places" to be in April of every year. And yes, they do shoot up a lot of stuff and occasionally blow up some stuff. Over the years I have got to see and shoot some very fine and historical machine guns and have seen some totally awesome stuff like twin and quad mini guns in action....What an event, in a great state with overall a bunch of great folks. As far as the show goes on CMT...haven't seen it and probably won't.

Aahhhh..... So glad I don't pay for TV. The nonsense is amazing.
