The price was really tempting (over $200.00 less than new) at a local gun shop.

I knew what the pistol was all about, with a pretty heavy double action first shot, and the need for stout 9MM ammo, so there were no surprises. The gun appeared unfired, as it was sold by a widow lady, the shop told me.

The double/single trigger is very much like what one would find on a Beretta or Sig or Smith model 39, but not as light as the more recent 3rd gen Smiths.

I got hits on a 20X20 inch paper at around 20 feet from the first round. The pistol points naturally.

I shot some +P and +P+ as well as 147 grain standard, all hollow points. Functioning was perfect, even when loosly held weak hand unsupported.

With 115 grain standard velocity ammo, there were some failures to eject when shooting weak hand. Again, no surprise there.

The pistol was easy to handle and it was not necessary to swap out the factory mid-size grip panels.

I also bought a Maglula UpLULA magazine loader, and boy, what a terrific product! Highly recommended...

The thumb snap leather holster for my S&W M&P full size pistol fits this gun, and I have one BlackHawk thumb snap that works, too.

At 27oz. empty, this is a viable concealed carry pistol in with the right clothes.

I only have 2 carry guns...one is my 442, the other is my P2000...which is also authorized for uniform on duty so I have retired my trusty 92F....

I have the LEM v2....only mod I made to it was a fiber optic front...no one offers one yet, but Marc at Gemini was kind enough to make me one....kind of cool that it's a one of a kind...:)

We have two H&Ks here. Both are USP in .40 and .45. nice firearms especially since you can carry them in condition one. The .40 caliber is what my wife carries in her car.
