Classic Firearms.
Compact H&K UPS 9mm never issued.
Has the LEM trigger system. Watched some youtube and it looks like a pretty good trigger.
These are Brand New in box. Were contract for a LEO agency in Europe.
Looked on line and this is a killer deal.
Mine is ordered. Still had em as of 9PM Central.
Just passing the word.

Good deal but I'm confused on why and how that is a LEM with a safety. Unless it's just a picture but the picture does show the import stamp so it's not just a generic pic.

I have one LEM full size USP 9 and one P2000 in 40sw. I've been looking for a P2000 LEM in 9 but of course this comes when I can't spare the $5XX

From the youtube videos I've watched the safety is also the decocker lowering the hammer and giving a DA first pull then a SA follow up as long as you don't let the trigger fully reset forward. A very light pull in DAO, they say 1-1.5 pounds taking up the slack till it breaks at 5-6.5 pounds. Then when it cycles stays at the 1.5 pound break.
Some are saying it is a better trigger than the DA/SA H&K's.
I'm looking forward to getting it.

Correct. HK safeties can be set up either as 1911 style with just up being cocked and locked or an added feature where all the way down decocks it as well as 1911 style. However......LEM is neither. It's a light double action only. When cocked (chambered) the hammer is still in DA mode but the trigger pull is about 5 -6 pounds. When not cocked (not chambered) the trigger pull is about 8 - 10 pounds. There is no DA/SA. Which is why it's confusing since the hammer can't be cocked back

It is confusing, but after a couple boxes at the range I'll be able to better understand it.
Not a whole lot of info out there about this USP model with LEM safety?/decocker.
Might be a Euro thing, cause the USP LEM's on Buds shows no safety/decocker lever.

Exactly why I was dumbfounded. Personally I like their LEM better than the DA/SA. HK makes several different types of trigger pull and they typically suck. One is 12# DA and another is 8# DA, then there is the LEM. Also all 3 can be lightened up with different springs so you get a mind boggling amount of different set ups and that doesn't count the 7 or 8 versions of the USP with different triggers and safeties

LEM is a sort of pre cocked pseudo double action with a reset closer to the HK single action, in the USP anyway. The p2000 the reset is halfway in between. The trigger starts about 2.5-3# then add about a pound when you pick up the firing pin block, then ends up about 8# when you finally pick up the sear. Better than HKs DA trigger, but IMHO this trigger will teach a novice shooter how to absolutely become a trigger slammer. Too much stuff going on. They made a similar trigger that ended up about 3.5-4# that they used on a competition model. Decent price for an HK though.

Thanks for explaining the LEM trigger. My grey matter ain't what it used to be but my trigger finger still knows what it likes.
Will give the trigger finger review after I get it and fire the weapon.

Yeah I thought the whole idea behind the LEM was that there was no safety akin to a DAO. My P2000 LEM doesn't have a safety.

PS: I like the LEM trigger, it has some getting used to, but for me it's very akin to a two stage AR trigger but with a heavier first stage.

Picked up the USP today.
The trigger is very light. Long first pull with zero resistance till the break at the very end, probably at the most one and a half pounds. Maybe less.
To carry this gun hot I'd have to use the safety.
There is no way of decocking the hammer for a typical first DA pull . The hammer is always down in the slide after racking a round till the trigger pull moves it rearwards. And then a very short light break. Reset is great. Not 1911 great, but I'll take it.
It is second strike capable on a hard primer. That is a full pull at around 10-13 pounds just guessing. Starts easy and ends heavy at the break.
I put 150 rounds thru it today FMJ and SD's. Not a single problem.
I like it but won't carry it till I get used to using the safety and the paddle mag release. It came with two 13 round mags but I'll buy a couple more mags.
Ambi safety and mag release. Slide stop only on left side of frame.

I can't post pics so how about no "no pics it didn't happen bull".
That burns me up
I'll PM my cell # if you want to see it.
Otherwise it's a very well made and great shooting gun.

Thanks!

I want one so so bad! If I could find a P2k 9mm LEM I'd have it on layaway in half a heart beat. Unfortunately it's hard to justify it at the moment. I have 3 guns on layaway and I carry a Glock.

Correct, the hammer is always in double action mode despite being pre cocked....sorta speak. It's definitely an interesting version because you don't see HK LEM with a safety. Definitely a European police agency order
