Just picked a new one up from my LGS for $197 and my initial impression is "wow". Fit and finish are great. Action is slick and smooth. Worth every penny. Easily as nice as my rem 870 express

I can't wait to shoot it

I agree. I have had one for Pardner Pumps for years. Heavy, but dang nice shooter. For the money, really had to beat.

I got one of these at Cabelas last year on sale for $179. Mine works fine. It is pretty heavy as it's all Chinese steel. I have been told that it will except all 870 parts except barrels. If you give any credence to "reviews" the H&R Pardner rates a lot better than any of the other HD shotguns in the $200 range (new)
