Had some Range time today...

We went to a outdoor range today and shot the S&W Model 915 as well as the Ruger LC9. It's freakin' windy in Oklahoma what takes all the fun, but that's nothing new...

The 915 did really good, we put ~100rds. total through it.

We put 6rds through the LC9 and don't like it. The trigger pull is looong and too hard. We shot it the 1st time today but it will go back to the dealer and he can figure out what's going on.

My wife said, "...either way, I don't like it. I want a S&W!"

I was going out to our farm to shoot today but, you're right, the wind takes all the fun out of it.

Sounds like you've got a great shooting partner. Wish I could get my wife to go shooting with me more often.

The wind was so strong it ripped the stapled targets off the wood. As soon as the 50rnd box was half full the wind blew it away... that ain't fun at all :mad:

My wife is a great sooting partner. We would go more often if we had child care. I hope your wife does go more often with you, because it can be fun and more important, you might need it to defend yourself.
