Pre-war 6" M&P with shoddy nickel refinish (hammer and trigger plated). Price? $600.

Same dealer (big FFL dealer, maybe 12 tables of handguns new and used) also had an early M&P with barrel cut to 3" and fake pearl grips. Also badly refinsihed. Hang tag made no mention of barrel not being original (but obvious from lettering on barrel). Price? $500.

Not sure if this matches the insanity of a brick of crappy Thunderbolt 22 ammo at $30.

When I go to the gun show I find that I always deal with the same people. I have found the ones I consider fair and honest and I check out what they have that may be new. Never seems to take more than three or four hours and I'm ready to go home.
