Pete has lost his chords, stretched for every note, either got warmed-up late but it looked suspiciously lip-synched towards the end. Then again who gives a shoot! They were once, as we all have a chance, on top of the world.
Lights were ok. Never liked the Who much, even in the 60's. Why do they always seem to have an old relic of a group, or entertainer(s) for the half time show? The game was much better IMO.
Good grief, you guys are killing me. I was in college when the Who were in their heyday and I really enjoyed seeing them again. Sure they are older and can't quite get the notes they used to but they were a lot of fun to watch, just for old times sake.
I saw them in Lexington in 1982. I still like seeing the legends in any format. Whether it's Daltry as a narrator on the history Channel or Plant with T-Bone Burnett and Alison Krauss on CMT. it was funny - my daughter kept saying "that's the CSI song".
I heard some old geezers singing 'Who are you? Who, who, who, who?' I said to myself.. that's a darn good question... who are those old farts pretending to be The Who.
