hammer safety

Hi i have been away for a while so i have sort of lost track on things, I have a newer S&W revolver and would like to remove the hammer safety mechanism where would i find instructions to do this? preferably printed not a download, I know how to disassemble and reassemble the revolvers so thats not a problem also what do you use to plug the hole? any answers would be appreciated. John

FWIW, what you're referring to is the "internal lock".
