I have a Hammerless in my safe with a serial number 107904 stamped on the cylinder. I read many threads on here before asking and I'm curious as to approximate date. I am also curious about shooting modern ammo?

Hi There,

Your .32 S&W CF New Departure Safety Hammerless is a third model. The
3rd model was made from 1902 to 1909 (between serial numbers: 91418
and 170000). Your serial number is on the beginning side of this range so,
I'd say your revolver was made in 1902 - 1903 range.

As a side note, I like the 1907 Savage Pistol! I've collected a few of them.
It appears to be the 1907-10 made somewhere after serial number 50000.

Yeah the 1907 is sweet but the magazine is missing. Thanks for the info. I am assuming since it's a 20th century manufacture ai could use modern loads if I wanted to. Not sure I will ever but hey these were made for shooting.
