Nice! You can't help loving Browning A5's! The 1st one I ever shot was when a friend and I were hunting, (early 70's) His was a Sweet 16 Model. Said would get 1 someday and picked up a (marked used but was new unfired) A-5 Magnum (12) at a local gun show. It was unfired. Bob

My younger brother has my dad's, he bought it the 50's, it's in great shape, probably hasn't been fired in 40 years. My uncle had one, also purchased in the 50's, was in nice shape but unfortunately he had a compensator installed, ruined any collector value. They are a great shotgun that still has a following to this day.

Yep........To this day........I regularly shoot my 12 ga & 20 A5,,,,,,,,,,The "new" A5 ain't nothin but a hump backed Benelli.

I used to shoot skeet at the end of the runway at Langley Air Force Base, the home of the first tactical fighter wing.
I bought a Remington 3200 with the three sets of insert barrels but never got the hang of it. The best I ever did was with a plain old A5 just like this one, got to 99/100 one time.
On one trip to the skeet range I was driving along the main runway in my 1976 280Z that I had modified significantly. To my amazement here comes Air Force 1 landing on the runway about 200 yards to the right of me. I had that A5 and a couple hundred rounds of either 8 or 9 shot reloaded by my older brother. I drove to the range and did my shooting then going home I am driving the opposite direction at almost exactly the same spot and there goes AF1 taking off of the same runway. GHW Bush was in that plane and I was a civilian.
You can bet that will never happen again.
