Recently bought a revolver for 100 bucks.I think its a model of 1953 22/34 kit gun.It is a hand ejector,ajustable rear sight,22 caliber, no model number,round grip,4 inch barrel, and the serial number is 11010.I think its about 80%.I would like to know more about it and what its worth.

A picture would be a great help, but from your description, you have hit the nail on the head. Based on the most recent transaction, it is worth $100.00 (sorry, did appraisal work too long) Great gun for plinking and quite desireable. Value depends on what and where that -20% is. Rust, pits, even wear or bad side (like stored in wet holster) ? Guessing, if in good working order with blue wear, no rust or pits, $350-550?

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! That kit gun is from the 1955 era and won't have a model # stamped in the yoke. In 1957, the kit gun was assigned Model 34. The SCSW, 4th Edition, says $350 for FAIR and $450 for GOOD. With some pictures, we can tell you more.

You've snagged a very popular .22. Officially it's a ".22/32 Kit Gun Model of 1953". Introduced in 1953 on the NEW I frame, it's an updated version of the 22/32 Kit Gun first sold in 1935. It's built on a 32 frame, hence the name 22/32. It became the Model 34 in June 1957. Newer versions are still made today.

These started a new serial range beginning with #101. Your #11010 is a fairly early one with a four screw sideplate and shipped ~ Mar 1955. None actually shipped in 1953.

They have options such as a 2" barrel or square butt grip.

I think the value estimates above are in the ball park.

They are very accurate once you get used to holding such a light gun. Excellent for field carry and taking with you in your hunting kit, fishing kit, hiking kit, etc. Hence the name Kit Gun. Enjoy!

Not sure what you mean by 80%. It could conceivably be worth as little as $300, but probably more. $400 or more.

P.S. I am NOT an expert on prices, and my head is possibly stuck in the [fairly recent] past
