Hand Rolled Cigars in Berkeley Springs West Virginia

Cubans (real ones) are definitely a developed taste. When I had my first one years ago I did not think much of it. After one of my friends bought me a box for my 50th Birthday, I developed a taste for them.

Another gift I received when I was 50 were license plate sized chocolate bars from all over the world. I got some from Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, England, Paris, Canada etc. A year after receiving them the guy who gave me these asked me a simple question..... which one was my favorite. I paused, chuckled and he asked my what I was thinking....... I said to him I really appreciate all the dark chocolates from around the world and some were better than others but my all time hands down favorite was the Hershey's Special Dark from the Supermarket!

The bottom line is ..... what you are use, what your personal taste is and what you familiar with.... that will be your favorite! :)

I guess I come from the Great Unwashed. I never could get
excited over a $25 cigar or $150 bottle of wine. I have been given a few boxes of expensive cigars as gifts. I didn't smoke
them I gave them to a buddy that is in to that, providing he gave
me the boxes back. They are nifty little wood boxes. If I ever
get a bottle of expensive wine I'll trade it for a jug of top shelf
Burbon. I did have some people send me a Spiral Cut Honey
Glazed Ham, I really enjoyed that, Im just glad I ate it before
I found out what it cost or I would have choked on it.

And to think all this cigar stuff started just over a year ago.
Snubby was smoking Swisher Sweets back then.
You may have saved him from a life of these

That's the hard part sometimes. I want to try a Padron 1964. It's a $25 cigar. It gets excellent reviews. Don't know if I'll like it though. I could get 4 Arturo Fuente Sungrown Belicoso's for about the same price and I know I like them.

I love a good cigar, pretty much every day. It is a challenge to find a good long fill, hand made cigar for under $6.00 Due to this I often overspend. The smell inside my local tabacconist's walk-in humidor is one of my favorite things. Right up there with the smell shots down range.

Recommend Me a Cigar, Update Post 82
The Magic of the Drift, Drifts On
And I'd like to thank you again for the cigars.
Other forum members emulated you and sent me selections of cigars.
Some sent me cigars they didn't like that had been sitting in their humidors taking up space that could be used for cigars they do like.
Turns out I actually have a new favorite because of that. The Rocky Patel Sungrown Maduro Robusto's a full body strong cigar and I like it. Unfortunately it's also pricey.
I've been trying lotsa different cigars and found I prefer the ones that are a bit on the medium to full body side.

I still have a few Pawngal cigars. I know that at least a couple are pepper bombs. I'm saving those for when I feel like having something a bit spicy.

Also the smell of leather and hickory smoked bison steak.

The best cigar I ever smoked was a Padron 1964 Aniversario. It was a long time ago, and I still remember it.

It was an expensive cigar, not $25 back then, but still too rich for my blood. I hope you get to try one, and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. As you know, there are no guarantees on that.

I haven't come across anybody that has said anything bad about it.

Tomorrow while I'm grillin' a coupla steaks, I'm planning on trying the cigar that was hand rolled at the festival.
It's pigtailed instead of having a cap and the foot's partially closed. It has a light floral scent.

I just noticed the dirty paper towel. That's brown leather dye, honest Injun.
