Hand Shakes

I always thank Veterans for Their service and and shake Their hand.
These old guys have grips of steel no matter how aged They are !

The grip of steel was 20 years ago before i retired.

I am wore out before my time. I am a year away from 60 but I am tired, my elbow, knees, and hips are shot and the VA tells me I am only at 10% disability.

I shook hands yesterday with a friend.....it felt a little weird but so good. I miss it.

On the contrary, shaking hands is a custom that should have died a century ago. I have always hated it; when you're in a group, shaking all these people's sweaty hands is disgusting and a mass-transit system for germs. I run across people who offer to shake while I'm eating, for heaven's sake.

Hoping that this is the one beneficial effect of Covid-19: to kill this practice for all time.

Our first son’s pediatrician, after my wife anguished over his ingestion of a piece of cheese retrieved from the playground where he dropped it, told her not to fret, because he was gonna eat a lot of dirt and bugs in his life.

If we’re told we can’t, I suppose we’ll be lined
