I got handcuffs from my dad to use in police explorers, since he wasn’t using them anymore. Couldn’t find anywhere online that had sates for serial numbers.

Serial number: 219989
M-300 model, hinged and silver in color

The Model 300 was introduced in late 1991 after the failed Model 200 & 210 introduced in 1990 & discontinued in early 1991. The Model 300 was manufactured through 2010. In 2011 they were changed to M-300-1.

The Model 100 was manufactured from 1979 through 2010. In 2011 they were changed to M-100-1.

That Model 300 is interesting, but I have to agree with Golddollar! Only I must add the words "any more." Also, lawyers are worth every penny I've given them.
I wonder, would S&W give a discount to a police dept. for handcuffs if they used their revolvers?
