Yesterday I tried the 9mm Blazer Brass (Dicks) with my 9mm M&P. I think I got 3 hangfires out of the first 50 rnd box. The delay was about .5 seconds. It cycled the M&P fine. Haven't tried it yet in my 1911. Went to the range again this morning with the M&P. I got one hangfire out of 50 rds. I did not clean the M&P between visitis to the range. Only shot a total of 100 rds in two days.
BTW - I also finally got the frame tool out without any damage. S&W has already mailed me another in case I damaged it trying to get it out. After they explained how it was press fitted into the frame, I was less reluctant to give it a good pull. Ended up very carefully using the side of a putty knife to get some leverage. Finally just popped out.
While on the phone, I also asked about the gritty trigger. They said to just shot the gun and the trigger would improve. I believe they are correct as the trigger has already improving significantly. If it keeps going, I'll be very satisfied. I think I've shot about 200 rds thus far.
