I guess I am supposed to be unhappy, but I don't seem to be.

Maybe when they were talking about WA they thought the state started at the Cascades and went west to the ocean.

Happiness doesn't really have that much to do with financial status. When they did a worldwide survey Phillipinos were the happiest.

I know that the foreclosure list for Tarrant County this month has 1920 names on it, a new record.

Seems to be a function of 1.Population density,2. Recent shifts of population 3. Outdoor activities (work and play). but what do I know as I still have to work on moving from # 2 to # 1, of course that shift comes with old age!

Gosh, I live in Florida and am happy as a clam!
The folks I know are happy, generally, too.

But, I never understood the reference to a happy clam-like, how do they know clams are happy?

Looked to me like the coasts are unhappy and flyover country is doin' fine.

What's up with the Okies driving a wagon and team? I haven't seen one of those on the road in quite a while, and that one had folks dressed in black and white in it.
