I have a couple of the large pistol size ones and I'm impressed for the price. I even gave one as a birthday gift, although he will probably use it for camera equipment. Pick and pull foam, reinforced locking points and front and side latches. Highly recommended.

How does their foam hold up, compared to the denser foam,
that other brands use?

Brought mine on a varmint hunt. Had an AR, two suppressors and a .17 HMR in it. Foam held up very good traversing 30 plus miles in the back of a ranger. I was happy with it.

I was thinking of that quality of foam, in 5 or more years.
I know that some foams, microphone wind covers, hockey and bicycle helmets, and other soft foams, used to make the helmets a perfect fit, deteriorate over the years.
We have a few of their handgun cases, and the guns are wrapped in thick cotton fabric.
House temp is kept at 77-78 degrees.
Closed cell foam, of high quality, that we use in the marine trades, some are three decades old, and still just fine.
I did buy one of the rifle cases last week.
Thank you OP.
Needed something to hold the scoped 6920s, as my
wheel bow soft case, gets comments like, hello Mr. Hood. :D
Some ranges want everything in a case, some do not.

Prior to our move across country...I purchased several of the HF rifle cases and a number of pistol cases to protect firearms during the move. Each was lockable so a padlock went on every one...not that a determined person couldn't defeat that.

These cases are well made and I have no doubt they'll take punishment and last a long time. Once our move was made and I had new safes to put everything in...I sold off the cases. They served their purpose well.

You could do far worse than buy some of these cases from Harbor Freight.
