According to a gun shop I frequently visit, the S&W 1911 in their showcase came with white grim reaper grips from the factory. Have you seen this combination? It was a government model with black finish.

Have a Look on ebay, search words "Grim Reaper Grips"..
I haven't ever seen a factory S&W with these grips but it is possible..

I'm thinking someone took a pair of wicked grips and put 'em on there and is trying to pass it off as factory.

I would think this would draw the wrong sort of attention. I doubt they're factory.

Thanks for the info, tlen. I knew my dealer was telling the truth, but I could not find a reference on one on S&W site.
