Ever since I got my shield 9mm I have been really focused on becoming an accurate shooter with it. I had the trigger done, put Talon rubber grips on it and now love it. I am by no means a sniper with it but I can shoot it pretty well now. I have a set of Ameriglow sights coming for it as well, this is my EDC.
My FS .40 has become my HD weapon and I hadn't shot it in about a month.
I took it out today and was pulling low right (I'm left handed).
I was a bit surprised, I figured after shooting the shield all this time a full sized gun would be easier to keep on target. The kick of the .40 threw me (I was shooting 165gr) I have a bunch of 180 I need to shoot , I think I liked the 180 better when I was regularly shooting this weapon. Does anyone else here actually shoot a smaller gun better than a full size? I'm almost to the point of getting rid of it and getting something like a 9C, or was it the kick of the .40? Maybe a FS 9mm would suit me better?
I really am surprised by this.
