A while back I told you all that my Son (Air Force) had completed army airborne school, and the next thing he wanted to do was Army Ranger School.
Well, they had a slot open early, and he was surprised when the told him to consider it, so he did, even though he had planned on completing it later on this year.
We attented his graduation Friday and they really did a good job, Rangers dropping into the water from above, arriving in a boat, and scared us real good when the set off the first explosive, then two more, the hand to hand combat was real good, and they made it comical while demonstrating the different tactics.
He had a fourty something year old Lt. Col. in his group, so he had to be in really good shape for his age.
He said that mountain traning was the toughest, and that he had to roll over on his knees, and then stand to get up in order to get the heavy ruck sack to cooperate.
