Heads up- Winchester Small Pistol $69.99

I myself would maybe buy small lots of the import primers to get over a hump but would really prefer to be able to buy primers from one of the big three(or so) rather than invest in mass quantities of foreign brands I have never tried or know anything about. Same for ammo. Like, look a great deal on Peruvian 9MM ball ammo, made by X. Wow send a pallet!

Maybe my take on the import primers is off...but...I will use them on the run of the mill loads but probably not mag or full bore loads. I don't load 9mm so my SPP is for 32 38 and 357s. 32-20 get small rifle. I may try loading a few 25 auto but only because I have the components...which includes a couple hundred S&W new brass

Lol, the price of wsp when i first purchased them when i started reloading was 59.99 or 69.99 a box of 1000.

I near cried when the Federal LR went to $125 a CASE! We thought the world was going to end. I actually still have some of those....

Makes me wonder if primers and powders are like stocks and bonds. When one goes up the other goes down. Maybe the high prices on powder cut overall demand and they can't sell as many primers.

It's been said before, but I can't help paroting it: The market prices are contrived. How can they sell $100+ primers at $60 now? They're not taking a loss by any stretch. They are just cutting their margin.

Same thing happens with Vortex optics. Suppliers occasionally offer discounts on the order of 40% or 50%. That means the regular markup is huge. I'd be a chump to buy at the regular price.

Offa my soapbox now . . . .
