Just came in from the first snow plowing this fall. Had heated grips, and heated throttle thumb piece installed last week.
Asked about ideas last winter, and received good suggestions, and have to say what a difference!!!!!
The shop I used told me about heated seats as I was leaving after loading the ATV in the trailer.
Hummmmmm?
Long undies, insulated overalls, and natural insulation, you know what that is 🙍, will have to work on the body, I guess?
Have to say, I don't know how you motorcycle types do the long rides in cold weather, with the highway speed winds?

For winter on the motorcycle, we got custom fitted Gerbing heated riding suits. The multi-zone controller plugs into the bike and clips on the jacket's belt. From there it powers the heated jacket, gloves, pants, and socks. Hubby and I have used this setup for multi-hour rides in single digit temperatures, and stayed toasty warm.

Peoples incredulous reactions when they see us riding during those cold days is often amusing. :)

I have heated grips on the wife and my ATV’s. Been on them for years. You ride in cold weather and they are God send. Look and see if you can find the mitts that fit over the grip area. You can run the handle heaters on low and not wear gloves.
If you try them, make sure you get them really roomy.
The first set I bought were too small and if not aligned perfectly would interfere with the throttle.

It was 8 degrees this morning.

I fired up the "blower" and chased it down and back up the quarter-mile county road in front of my place (NO, the county doesn't keep it clean in the winter!).

Hand warmers worked perfectly.

Problem?

I actually like riding my Yamaha Grizzly when its cold and stay pretty comfortable down to 25 degrees with just warm clothes, if it gets colder than that I may ride a little but not stay out very long. Even if you have grip heaters it doesn't sound very fun to be out in weather much colder than that but I guess if you live somewhere where it's really cold all winter it would be boring to stay inside the house all winter long.

Yup...

I agree for the need for the heated grips and throttle lever. As mentioned above, the hand mitts or hand protectors that slide over the grips and protect the hands and wrists (where your gloves and coat always separate) from the wind.
I like being out in the cold, (no dust, no bugs, not as many people) but I don't like being cold.
The right gear helps a lot.
This pic isn't from this year.
